Open attachments on a new tab
Does anyone know if it's possible to open attachments in a course, on a different tab? At the moment, once the attachment (document) is opened, the only way to close is to click on the Exit button which closes the course as well.
When I open the attachments, they open on a new tab, but when other uses do the course, attachments don't open on a new tab.
Or is there another way for documents to be viewed in a presentation?

Browser settings and the file type of the attachments are what determine if a file attachment will be opened in a new browser tab or downloaded. Google Chrome for example has a Privacy & Security setting that allows users to download PDF documents rather than open them in a new tab.
You'll need to check with your IT team to see if they can set the behavior of your browser to open in your preferred behavior.
