Organizing Rise and Storyline courses?

What is the smartest, most efficient way to organize Rise and Storyline courses in the Articulate cloud?

We have duplicate versions of Rise courses before they were published. I say to match the date of the last update in Rise and then match it to the date of the published SCORM within the LMS.  Then delete all of the published Rise courses under that name and publish it as the completed course. What say you?

Storyline is pretty simple in my view. Just upload the latest version, back up that latest version, and make sure there are no duplicates.

I would like to know how you and your organization have organized Rise and Storyline files in Articulate.
