"Pause timeline on This Layer" pauses the timeline on every layer.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this bug?

I am also facing this issue.

When you pause the timeline on a single layer, it pauses all other layers.

Basically, the pause layer does not work, it just pauses everything.

Does anyone know if this is a known bug?

Please also confirm that you are working locally as described here. Is this only happening with one file, or have you seen it happen with other files?

I have attached a short example to this reply.

So we have layer 1 and 2, which both have animating elements on them. We also have a third layer which starts the animations by showing the layers.

We have a trigger on layer 2 which says, "after 5 seconds, pause this timeline". This is where the issue is appearing. Interestingly, on some investigation it appears that if the pause is triggered via a button, the whole thing works perfectly.

Working locally vs off a network has not made even the slightest difference to my issue, it was worth trying though.

Yes it's the same as above when the timeline is paused via an actual time.

i was able to reproduce this issue from my end as well. I will be sending this to our QA team for review. Thanks for the information about the trigger using a button, as that could be a workaround for now.

When I get any updates, I will share them here.

Hi - was there ever an update on this? I'm assuming no fix was implemented as I've experienced this issue today.

An update on this bug would be nice, especially considering it has been with QA for 10 months!
