Peek Issues
Hi! When screencasting using Peek the audio keeps dropping out and is often garbled.
Tested this now on two separate computers with different headsets.

We have been looking for a resolution to the choppy audio recording in Peek for some time. I don't know if your team has a way to escalate tickets but it might be a good idea considering the number of comments here.
Case #01523885
Hi Jonathan,
I see that your support case is with our Senior Support Engineers, as it seems you've run into something different than this discussion previously covered (which was fixed in an update in April 2018). They'll reach out with some next steps!

Hello I'm a new user of the Articulate software Peek and have instantly experienced the sound issues mentioned on this discussion board. I have updated the Articulate 360 in hopes to cure the sound recording playback issue. With no success, I am at a intersection as to which software to use in place of Peek. I'm creating e-Learning videos for online training purposes. I was instructed to use Peek to create the series, and sending it on to someone else for editing. The gentleman doing the editing is the one who recommend Peek and has informed me to reach out for help...Help!
Hi Robert, you came to the right place for help!
My colleague, Christopher, recently reached out to you requesting a copy of your Peek video. Let me know if you have any questions about how to send that video to us!

This is still going on?
Hey there, Michael. We released a fix that solved most folks' issues with the playback in Peek. There were still some outlier cases with specific issues. I see that you were last working with Bret from our senior support team. Are you still experiencing trouble with your Peek recordings?
Thanks for letting us know the solution, Jonathan!

This is still an issue for me, we've had to use alternte screen recording software which is not great considering the money we spend for Articulate 360
Hello Carrie!
I'm happy to dig deeper to see what's causing this issue. Are you using Peek for Mac or Windows? Also, is it a specific computer where you notice problems with Peek or multiple computers? Here are the system requirements of Peek for Windows and Peek for Mac.

We did find further answers. If I disconnect my laptop from my additional monitors while recording, the choppy behavior is resolved. Not sure why additional monitors should be a problem but it is definitely the issue for all the machines we use here.

I can see these comments are from 3 years ago, but is this still an issue? I had no problems with Peek for years and the last 2 weeks all of my recordings are choppy. I have ruled out internet and headphones and other programs aren't choppy.

Give up and use something like Camtasia as Articulate aren't doing anything to make Peek a reliable, useful tool. You can see by how old this thread is and it's still doing the same thing.
Hi Cleaver33,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing. I see that you were able to contact our support team as well and you are currently working directly with Shiela.

This is insane, that this is still an issue
Hi Michael,
The original issue you reported here was corrected in Build 1.15.15453.0 in April 2018. If you're still having difficulty, we'd be happy to take another look. You can work with our team directly here. We've been able to help folks get back up and running properly.
