Pick many review results shows correct/incorrect answers but I don't want that

Hi, I made a quiz (pick many) and when reviewing the results it keeps saying correct/incorrect, even though I unticked that option (see screenshot).

I have attached my file. Could you have a look at it please?

Thanks, Irene

  • The "Show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing" option refers to the program adding a checkmark next to the correct answer during a Review. This only applies to standard graded question, not freeform ones.

A Review will always show the Correct or Incorrect banner at the bottom of the question slides.

    • One workaround to cover it: add a "Review" layer to the question slide. On that layer, insert a shape that covers where the banner shows.

Since your questions don't have right or wrong answers, it would be better to use Survey questions instead.

    • To get the Review and Retry options, use a Graded Results slide with the Survey questions. I suggest you set the passing score to 0, delete the Failure and Success layers, and just put everything you need on the base.

Finally, I feel compelled to ask this: Why bother doing a quiz about Preferred Learning Styles?

Thank you for that answer! I thought unticking the box that says "show
      correct/incorrect answers" was sufficient.
And strange that a "click many" quiz shows right and wrong, since nothing
doesn't have to be right or wrong.....
      Best, Irene

A "Pick Many" (aka Multiple Response) question is for situations when multiple answers are correct

Your questions have checkmarks in the "Correct" column for all of the answers.

That means the question will be graded as correct when the user has selected all of the answers. Any single selection or any other combination of selections will be graded as wrong.

BTW, using Pick Many means that more than one item can be selected:

When the user should only be allowed to select one answer, you should use a Pick One/Multiple Choice question.
