Printing and Emailing a Course Completion Certificate in Storyline 360
So, I have my certificate on its own slide that they reach after the passing results. And I have it either with a text input that they fill in, or I used to pull their name directly from the LMS, but that function is currently broken with the update as of March. I also have it auto-populate the date on the certificate with the current date.
I don't suppose you'd be willing to share your file? I'd love to see the build.
Of course. I can't share the original file, but I ripped the basics of the certificates out and made a short demo. I also included a solution for the awkward placement of the certificate on the print page. There are some explanations for the slides on the first page of the file.
And I want to apologize in advance. The course I ripped this from had the certificate removed from the menu so they could not access it directly and even though I've reset all my menu options and added the certificate slides back in, I cannot get them to show in the menu, or my starting slide for that matter. But the print/email functions all work correctly. If you have any other questions, please let me know.Thank you so much, Perry. This is awesome!
