Recovering deleted blocks
Curious if there's a way to recover deleted block from Rise. Somehow several blocks disappeared from one of my courses and I'm hoping to recover them. Is there a version history that I ca access to track these down? Thanks!
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.
I'm so sorry that happened to you, Cheryl. That sounds like a frustrating situation. I'll add your feedback to our feature report. If we add a "revert to earlier version" feature in the future, we'll let you know.

+1 from me for improving the undo feature.

Same thing here... very frustrating. Hope you can come up with a history version solution.

When you try to delete a Template in Rise, you are presented with this confirmation box:
That's precisely what we need when deleting blocks: ask the user to confirm.
This is a very easy and essential fix to implement.

Just happened to me in 2020! Cannot believe no update yet. Hours of work gone because of accidental Trash can click. By the time the page refreshed there was no 5-6 second Undo button. Please update this. Who is in charge of this? Is the manager sadistic or what?

When updating a file I accidently trashed something and there was no Undo button for me either. The person who created it passed away and didn't leave a backup or Word document. I thought I could use the published version to recreate the content, but alas there isn't one because users were given access to the LIVE file. Which means as soon as I deleted the content no one has access to the information.
I feel like this is Friday the 13th, I've broken a mirror, while walking under a ladder, stepping on a crack, all because I was trying to avoid a black cat. :(
I'm begging you to add this feature.

This is still not in place. I used a template and spent 2 hours course writing, deleted the unused blocks and accidently then deleted 3 further blocks; this resulted in the undo feature missed from the 2 lessons - surely there should be a recycle bin or such like feature? Even in moodle, a freeware platform, there's an undo feature! Highly frustrating!

After 3 years this has not even been considered?!
- Hi everyone! We've improved the visibility and functionality of the undo notification that appears when you delete blocks.
The new undo notification appears for 12 seconds with a timer indicator. If you need longer than 12 seconds, hover your mouse over the notification to pause the timer. You'll also see multiple notifications when more than one block is deleted.
Let us know if you have any questions about this enhancement! Hi there, Allen. Once the "undo" option disappears, your deletes are final. However, it sounds like some of your content just went missing.
Can you open a case with our support team here? Share your course URL, the lessons where the content went missing (if you can remember), and the last time you worked on them. We'll see if we can help restore your content.

I can't be the only one wondering why we can't have at least a handful of undo's that don't disappear after a few seconds? Is there a thread that explains this and possible talks about an upgrade to that feature in the future?

I second this. Definitely need a version history. I lost an entire lesson.
