Reset text entry when retrying quiz

Hello!

I have a text entry quiz slide. I have it set so users can retry the quiz if they score below an 80%; however, when the quiz restarts, the text entry box is locked and I can't reattempt. I've set the slide properties to reset to initial state when revisiting and that hasn't fixed the issue.

Is there anyway to reset the text entry when retrying a quiz?
