Rise 360 running slow

I'm so sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
As my colleague Eric shared, it's helpful to confirm an up-to-date, supported browser is being used when authoring in Rise 360. Also clearing the browser's cache, or rebooting your machine may help to improve the issue. To clarify, are you using any sort of VPN to connect to the internet? If so, I would suggest disconnecting and testing the behavior again.

Yes, and I even tried 'turning it off and on again'. It's just the
software. It's not great.

I've been using Rise for 6 years on a daily basis for 6 to 7 hours a day.
Yes, there are times that Rise runs slowly, but in my experience this happens rarely.
I don't know why Rise is running slowly for you, but it's not typical.
