SL360 Find Font
360's REPLACE font is very useful. Where is the FIND font to go with it?
Sam
Thanks Nancy for clarifying - I hadn't read it that way, but luckily Leslie and you did. :-)
Also good insight to share here Sam, and if you haven't already you'll want to pass along to our team here.
Thanks Sam and Brian - and all good feedback to have. Especially in terms of the differences in fonts and how they may change the layout on the slide in question.

Just as a follow up to support my +1....I had a project recently where I only used 2 fonts. But when I looked at the 'replace fonts' window, I noticed the presents of Wingdings...a font I hadn't used. So I replaced the font across the project with the main font I was using...only to notice (unfortunately a day later, so I couldn't undo easily) that as a result, all my "tick" bullet points now looked terrible. I hadn't realised that Storyline had automatically used the Wingdings font to make those ticks. If I had of been able to find where the Wingdings font was in use (by "finding" an instance of it) I would have been able to stop myself before I messed up all my bullet points across an entire project :-)

+1 for a find (only) feature, please. As Phillip said, I'd like to track down where some of the fonts are being used in projects that I have been given before doing a global "replace".

Yup - here I am making this request also! I have no idea where this font is used in this course, so I don't want to just replace it.
Hey, Phillip! Great question. Here's an inside look at how we manage the feature requests we receive.
A find font feature isn't currently on our roadmap, but if that changes, we'll let you know!

Thanks...and that's disappointing.
I've seen the link you point to mentioned in many postings. I don't find it that useful....it's that final sentence that I think makes it clearer that this request isn't on the cards.

+1 from me, too! I have a story with 3 'rogue' fonts (not available on my computer or those of most of the others in my team) and something on the order of 200+ slides (with lots of layers and lots of individual text boxes).
It's going to take me hours to track down each of these. Last time it happened, it was just one font, and just on one slide but, as someone else mentioned, the difference in kerning messed up the appearance of the slide.

And another +1 for the find font feature. I inherited a large, older course, created on a computer I no longer have access to, that is missing a font I can't find online. I simply want to find where that font is used in the course so I can replace it properly. Thanks.

I got the missing font message popped up. I have Optima Lt Std font file but don't know how to install. Literally, this is basic and I saw it appears in Microsoft. What is actually missing in Articulate?
