Slide layers not triggering correctly.
I am working on a slide that the learner is supposed to click the article that goes to a slide layer for an article summary. This summary slide layer is supposed to stay on screen until the learner clicks the button in the top right corner that will take them back to the base slide to choose another article. I have a lot of actions going on this slide.
Currently, this is how the slide layer is functioning...Click the article -> goes to the slide layer -> learner clicks play (must keep that feature, it is how my organization is meeting an accessibility rule), the slide layer plays to the end and immediately returns to the base slide when the timeline finishes and NOT when the learner clicks the button in the upper right corner. I cannot see my error.

The Slide Layer Properties are set to hide the layer when the timeline ends.
To require the user to click to close the layer, deselect that option.

You're welcome! Pay it forward when you can. 😊
By the way, I recommend taking the time to look through the Player Properties, Slide Properties, and Slide Layer Properties. Those include a lot of features that can make it easier to program. And knowing what they can do also helps with troubleshooting.
