Solutions to reduce learning content size
Greetings all,
I have a client who has a heavily limited internet access (due to a remote location). We developed content for them, which appear to encounter severe playback issues due to file size. To cope with such difficulties, the client recommended having the videos (the video files are that of an actor who presents the learning content on each slide) that do not exceed 5Mb each. The issue is that video quality is greatly affected upon compression.
To workaround this issue, we tried to use embedded videos, but we could not get the videos to play automatically (even after adding the '?autoplay=1' tag to the video link), thus, the videos became out of synch with respect to the objects on the timeline.
Another way to workaround would be to record the entire slide content and import it as an embedded video. The issue is that this method would make the content very maintenance heavy if updates and/or modifications were to be done.
Attached is a screenshot of a slide to give an idea of how our learning content looks like.
Has somebody ever encountered similar challenges? I would be very grateful if I could get some ideas on how to reduce a learning file size without compromising too much on visual quality. Thanking you all for your input.
Sincerely,
Didier Ramanitrarivo

Hello, Didier.
Thank you for reaching out!
I'm looking forward to the suggestions our community members will give you for working specifically with videos. Still, I wanted to share an article that I believe might offer some helpful suggestions for working with low bandwidth:
