Story block interactivity opening in a popup window.
I have to use some interactivities in my upcoming Rise courses, but during a demo course I noticed that the interactivities are opening in a pop-up window with a close button at top right. Is there any way to get rid of this to make it more seamless?
Hi SujanBhattac506,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand the Storyline blocks embedded in your Rise course are opening up in pop-up windows that the learner must exit out of. From the screenshots you included, it looks like you're viewing the course on a mobile device. Can I ask which device and which browser you're using? Additionally, does the issue persist if you view the course on your desktop?
If you're comfortable sharing a copy of your course with us in a support case we'll be happy to take a closer look!

Kelly,
Thank you for your reply. I've used up my Articulate trial period and unfortunately lost access to my Rise course. Since our customers will primarily use iPads and mobile devices, we need a seamless experience. However, due to the pop-up issue, I'm having trouble convincing my superiors to purchase Articulate. If you can provide a solution or some reassurance, I'd be happy to share the Story file and continue my efforts to persuade them.
I will send you the Story file shortly.regards

Hi Kelly,
Please find the attached source file that I inserted into Rise 360. I noticed that the interactivity appears as a pop-up when viewed on mobile devices. I tested in IOS.

Hi, Please help me with the answer of the above queries. I need to solution soon.
Hi SujanBhattac506!
Glad to see Kelly has been helping you!
It looks like you've attached the published, zipped package of your Storyline 360 course. We would need the .story file itself to access it on our end. Do you mind reattaching just the .story file?
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hello SujanBhattac506,
Happy to help!
If you're referring to the behavior where embedded Storyline 360 blocks in a Rise 360 course open in full screen when viewed on a mobile device, this is currently the expected behavior. Embedded blocks will open in full screen when interacted with, and you'll need to tap on the 'X' icon in the upper right-hand corner to return to the Rise 360 course. This is due to the limited space when the Rise 360 course is viewed on a mobile device. These community threads give more insight into this:
- I don't want a Storyline block embedded into Rise to pop out when I click on it.
- Put Storyline Interactions Into Rise!
The embedded Storyline 360 blocks will not open in full-screen when your course is viewed on a desktop device.
Let me know if you have any questions!
