Storyline 360 not saving work
Hi all, has anyone else been having issues with trying to save work and getting the following error message?
I've tried saving it in different locations (on local drive and then trying to save to OneDrive), but it won't allow me to and and I lose the work 🤬

If Storyline 360 is not saving your work, it could be due to:
- File corruption: The project file may be damaged. Try saving as a new file.
- Storage location: Ensure you're saving to a local drive, not a network or external drive, as these can cause issues.
- Software updates: Check for updates to Storyline 360 that might fix bugs.
- Permissions issue: Verify you have proper permissions for the folder where you're saving.
Hi MatthewWhichell,
Thanks for reaching out!
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue and I'm happy to help troubleshoot. We recommend saving your work on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Have you tried closing the file and reopening it? This seems to have resolved the issue for another user receiving the same error message.
If that doesn't do the trick, you can try importing your slides into a new Storyline project, and let us know if that works! As mwaseem4794 stated, it's possible the file could be corrupted, and I understand how frustrating this can be. Here are some tips to reduce your risk of corrupting or losing project files.

This often happens if you run out of resources.
you have probably closed it now, but I would open task manager and kill storyline, then reopen this was it will recover to the last recovery point and you should be able to save
