Hello again Leslie, I don't know if you read this but if you do I just want to share a final point of view of this topic.
Ever since I began working with SL back in 2014, stability has been an issue. This is what I meant with the "basic bugs" statement in my original post. Crashes have been an annoying side of SL1, 2, 3 and now 360, but with this fix I experience almost a new everyday with regards to creating courses.
- I haven't had a single crash since updating the build version. Overall stability of SL360 has so far been excellent for me.
- Bonus (for me): I am an avid user of keyboard shortcuts, as they drastically increase the speed with which I can deliver. With the updated build the start/stop of the timeline using the space bar now responds faster (in slide view), and of course without interruptions. I still think it is a bit slow, but I can live with this improvement.
One thing I do miss though, is a display that shows me the exact time. The bar over the timeline just doesn't cut it for me. I would like to be able to see minutes, seconds - and frames, and to navigate easily to a point on the timeline using a shortcut!
Let me thank you again for taking my rather irritated post seriously. I now work on a stable platform, which I think is about the first time for me in Storyline.
