Storyline Quiz Review - Is the Incorrect/Correct message editable?
Just watched Jeannette's great screenr on creating customized Quiz Review slides. In addition to this customization, is there a way to move/edit the "Incorrect" and "Correct" text rectangle that appears at the bottom of each review slide? I don't think it was customizable in Studio Quizmaker, but maybe it is in Storyline? Thanks!

Hi,
Is there anyone who can tell me how to customize (or use our own) graphics for the correct selected option (checkmark).?
Where do I find this graphic, and is it a state, layer or ?

Hi Niels,
This checkmark can be turned off by:
- Click the Edit Results Slide button (right pane)
- Click Options in the left pane of the dialog box
- Remove the checkmark from the "show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing"
Insert your custom checkmark on the question slide(s)
Set its initial state to hidden
Create a T/F variable and set the default to False. In the attached example, I named my variable revu
On the results slide, add a trigger to the "Review Quiz" button that changes the revu variable to True when the button is clicked
Be sure this trigger is ABOVE the "Review Results" trigger
On the Question slide(s), add a trigger to change the state of your custom checkmark to normal when the timeline starts if revu variable = True
Please shout out with any questions.

I followed your step exactly and yet my image doesn't appear on my review. Does it matter that I have a custom review button built? I like the idea of having my own checkmark show up (i need a larger one), but I can't seem to get it to work for me. :(

Is it correct that you can't hide/remove the Prev/Next buttons? I created custom Prev/Next for my entire course, but the default ones appear on the Review Quiz slide. I have turned off all Prev/Next in the player.
Also, is there any way to move the Correct/Incorrect bar?
Thanks,
Frances
Hi Frances,
During a quiz review the buttons do automatically appear, as the Storyline file is assuming that since it's a review there is no longer the "submit" button, and therefore the user needs some way to navigate the course. This is something our QA team is investigating, although I don't have any information to share at this time.
Also, there is no feature to remove the correct/incorrect bar on the quiz review. There is discussion at the top of this thread on how to customize the feedback layer to hide it under another shape though.

I have hidden slide navigation buttons throughout my course, but when I go to review the quiz material, I have added a player trigger response- when I remove the slides from my project all works fine, but within the project the previous and next buttons do not appear in the review process.
What have I done wrong?
Here is the question slide
It has my submit botton
But when I review the question- no slide navigation buttons apper in the project
but if I cut and past the question slides and quiz review slides into a seperate articulate project the slide navigation buttons appear in the review
I want these sldie navigation buttons to apper in my actual project and wonder what I've set wrong to cause this problem.
Any ideas?
Here are my slide trigger details for the project where the review slide navigation buttons don't appear(not working correctly)
And the new project where it works fine
any ideas?
Hi Ginny,
Looking at your second image, I don't see any player elements? If you've removed the space for the next/previous buttons by disabling them in addition to the volume, seekbar, etc. then there would be no space for the previous/next buttons to appear within the player - which is likely why they're showing up in your other version that you've imported into a new project. You may want to add custom next/previous button to your review layer if you don't want to use the built in player navigation.

I have disabled the previous and next buttons in addition to the volume/seekbar controls in order to use my own navigation throughout the course and quiz. I've only allowed submission via a Submit button on the quiz base layer, not allowing them to jump between questions. To allow them to navigate freely during review of the quiz (only on successfully passing the quiz) I've created a review layer on each quiz to allow users to navigate backwards and forwards.
I want to place a button on the final slide of the training (summary of completion and resources) that allows to user to go back to the beginning of the content in case they want to review the content and quiz after advancing from success results layer. However, when users do not review the quiz on the previous slide and click the return to content button on the final slide, it doesn't show the review layer of the quizzes which does not allow them to advance through the quiz to the final slide.
Are there triggers or slide settings that will allow the review layer to show?
I've placed a few screenshots below.
Thanks!

Hi M.W.,
The "review quiz" function includes a trigger to review the results, and therefore show the layer as necessary. Have you looked into including a similar trigger on your final slide? Or, you could also use a T/F variable that would be changed on that last slide when the user clicked the button and based on the value of the variable you'd set a trigger on each slide to show the "Review" layer when the variable equals True. There is a great tutorial here on how to work with variables in Storyline.

Thanks for your quick response Ashley. In regards to the review results trigger, it doesn't allow me to direct it to slide 1. I succeeded in creating a T/F variable on my Return to Content button and created a trigger on each slide to show the review when the variable equaled True. It shows the custom navigation buttons I placed on the review slide, but it does not show the correct/incorrect feedback found on the review layer when utilizing the Review Quiz button. Here is a picture of the trigger:
I don't see any other triggers or variables on the quiz question slides or results slide that are related to this trigger, so I'm not sure how to replicate that with my button but having it jump to slide 1 instead of the 1 quiz question. Is the only way around this to create additional feedback on the results layer that will show based on the variables I created.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
M.W.
Hi M.W.,
To allow the course to jump to a particular slide, you'd need to add another trigger. You'll also want to look at the "Results slide" option and check that you've included the "Show correct/incorrect" feedback found under the review section:
