SVG files not uploading in Rise?
Is anyone else experiencing this? I was able to upload SVG files last week to my rise courses without any issues and this week I get the following error message:
Please verify the file type is an image and try again.

SVG Viewer - View, save, and optimize SVGs
Best solution! Optimize your file in that site and then upload it in RISE. Worked for me straight away

Hi Colin! I was able to upload an SVG file in my Rise course just now, and I didn't have any problems. Please try the following options
- Use a different browser
- Use private browser/incognito mode.
- Clear your browser cache.
Let us know here if you're still unable to upload your file.

I have the same problem
I am having the same problems with my SVG file - I need to load it to the top of every page - it worked on one page, and then whatever I do it will not load again.
There are no fonts in my SVG
There are no spaces in the file name.
I have cleared my browser cache.
I have tried using incognito mode
I have tried using Chrome and MS Edge
I have tried changing the file name

Same, I tried it in Chrome, Safari, Edge, in private/incognito, cleared my cache files. It doesn't make sense that it works in one spot and not another.

I got it to work by reducing the file name

Hi Colin - I reduced my file name - originally 34characters long down to under 10 characters and it then worked - though I don't know if something else magic happened at the same time - (also cleared cache again).
It definitely doesn't make sense how it works one moment and not the next!

The thing that worked for me for a while was to save the project as an SVG file, convert the fonts to outlines and embed the images in the file (options you can toggle while saving as). But now even this solution has stopped working for me.
Even reduced my file name from 13 characters to 1 character.

I had a problem with the titles it was either the spaces or the word AND. But the SVG viewer worked perfectly. Thanks Ronan.
