Hi Barb! 👋 Great question! I like that you're thinking ahead! Here are a few resources for managing/tracking content that I hope make it easier to maintain projects in the future.
- 5 Tips for Building E-Learning Courses That Are Easy to Maintain - I thought I'd share this with you since you mentioned you're in the beginning stages of building courses and this could help set you up for success.
- Course Update Spreadsheet - a Course Maintenance Sheet can be helpful because you can see a list of all the courses in one place with any notes you need to stay organized. There are also a few dropdown options, but you can edit these to project status or whatever works for you.
If you use something like this, I highly recommend importing it into Google Sheets if you have more than one person working who will be making updates to it. This allows everyone to see it and make changes in real-time so you don't have to pass a file back and forth.
