Unrestrict Access after passing Course Opt-Out Assessment
Hello,
I have a course that is set to Restricted on the Menu Options in the Course Player. The reason it is Restricted, is because I don't want first time learners to be able to skip through sections of the course.
I also have a Course Opt-Out Assessment at the beginning of the course.
I would like the learner to be able to go into the course content after the learner passes the Course Opt-Out Assessment.
Right now, if they pass the Course Opt-Out Assessment, they are given credit and advance to the course exit page but if that learner wants to review any of the course, the learner can't because it is set to Restricted.
How can I Un-Restrict access after the learner passes the Course Opt-Out Assessment?
I hope that makes sense! Thanks for anyone who can help!
Mike
Here's one way to do it using a single t/f variable.

Hi Tom, I tried this. The course is lengthy and the customer does not like how long it takes and how it looks cycling through when it "un-restricts" all of the pages/slides.
Is there a way to set a trigger or variable that when the learner passes the opt-out assessment with the passing score that the trigger will tell the pages/slides in the menu to unlock? I feel like there is but I'm stumped as to how to do this.
Thanks for all of your help! I appreciate it :-)
Just saw this.
If you're using the lock menu feature, there is no other way that can unlock it other than the slides visiting them. At least not in Storyline. Perhaps there's a way to do it with JS but I don't know JS and that's outside of the tool feature set.
