Upload a SCORM file into Rise?
Hi Heroes
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to upload a third-party SCORM file into a Rise module. We have permission to use it and to host the course in our LMS, I just want to include it in an overarching module alongside several other in-house built modules.
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360! This update adds the following feature:
- Save and restore your work with a click via an easy-to-access version list that captures manual saves and export events.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available. Let me know if you have any questions about this update.

This is a major flaw with Articulate 360. Pretty much every other LMS allows for SCORM uploads, even if you can't edit.

Hi David,
If you have a paid subscription with Rise.com, then you can upload a SCORM into that LMS, and present that course to students.
However, Articulate 360 subscriptions provide access to course editing tools only, and as it does not include a LMS, it's not possible to upload a SCORM as an editable course.

Is there another way to do this now (I see someone was looking for the functionality to upload a SCORM file a few years ago)? Someone that left the company created a course using Articulate Storyline, exported as a SCROM file and uploaded it to our LMS. We now need to edit the course. Is there a way to import the SCORM files to either Storyline or Rise now?

Hi Camille,
To edit a Storyline file, you need the original STORY file.

A course created in Rise has been shared with me outside of the Rise platform. I have it downloaded on my computer. How do I upload it into Rise 360 to edit?

Hi,
If you are talking about a Rise course in a SCORM ZIP output file, then it cannot be brought into Rise and edited.

Hi there, is there a possibility of uploading an interactive tutorial, in a SCORM file format via a program like ActivePresenter into Rise?
- LeaSAgatoStaff
Hi Grant, are you looking to host your published ActivePresenter courses in Rise.com? Rise supports content exported using SCORM 1.2 or any edition of SCORM 2004.
Please feel free to start your Rise.com trial here to test this feature!

I would also like to be able to HOST a SCORM module within a RISE module. Such as a game created in Training Arcade.

I need to upload a SCORM file created with iSpring, how can I achieve that?
- hazelBStaffHi Sergio! You may be able to host those SCORM output files on a web server, then embed the content into a Rise 360 lesson. After uploading the output file to the web server, grab the URL to the index.html file.In Rise, add that URL to a multimedia embed block. In the iFrame code field, use the formula <iframe src="URL"></iframe>. Just replace URL with the link for the content you want to embed. This doesn't work all the time but you can try!You might want to check these out too in case you encounter issues:

Hi Ebony,
The only remaining option is for you to recreate the course manually.
Pretty sure that's not what you wanted to hear.

I used it as a template for another training module without duplicating the previous module.

I wrote over a Rise Module. I exported it as a ZIP file before this happened. I really need the training to get back on Rise 360. As a understand, I can't go to the previous version and I cannot upload the SCORM...what are my options?

Hi Ebony,
When you say "wrote over" what happened to the original Rise course?
