Web page displaying on incorrect answer to quiz question
Hello, I am revising a test that automatically displays a web page that contains the correct answer. I want to revise it using a link that to the page instead of it automatically displaying the page. I know how to create this link but I forgot what I did to make the web page display automatically when someone gets the wrong answer and I want to prevent that from happening. Can someone tell me how to do that?

Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a look? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

To prevent the web object from loading automatically, follow these steps:
1. Right-click the web object and select "Edit."
2. In the "Edit Web Object" box, uncheck the "Load automatically" checkbox.Alternatively:

2. Navigate to the Options tab in the top menu bar.
3 .Uncheck the "Load automatically" checkboxHi Alan. Nothing to be embarrassed about. I can relate to what you're experiencing right now. In your project, all web objects seem to be direct links to different websites. There is actually nothing to be displayed in Storyline. These links in Web Objects are displayed only when the project is published. In your project, when incorrect layers are triggered. If you want to change the current links displayed in the Web Objects, you can paste them over the old links as illustrated below.

I have been out for a while and just getting back to this thread.
Can you tell me how to display the grey screen below that says "Web Object" with the URL address below it? Alternately can you do a screen recording of how you displayed it. I don't want to edit the web object, I want to delete it and replace it with a link from the Incorrect Answer page

You can also record a short video demonstration of particular issue. I'll be glad to assist you either way.If you want to replace a link you can't get away from editing the Web Object itself. That's how it's done. That's how I did it. What ever you insert in Web Address > Address field it will be instantly updated in Web Object (the gray screen box) as soon as you click OK to confirm and close Edit Web Object dialog box (demo attached). Now, I don't know if you want to delete a Web Object entirely or not or just delete and replace the current link within the Web Object.

Actually I want to delete the web object entirely...but I don't know how to display the web object itself so I can delete it
Can you re-do your demo so I can see how you displayed the web object in the first place?

I used your original .story file posted earlier in this thread. All web objects are already in the project. All you need to do is to select the web object (the gray box) and hit Delete on your keyboard. Watch my demo on how to display and delete the web object. This way the web object will not appear in your project when published.
When I click Insert>Web Object, I don’t see the web address that was previously entered by the original author. I just see a blank Insert Web Object window. (see attached file)
I want you to show me how to display the web object so I can right click on the Web Object field and enter it.
