Zip files on Rise

Hello Team,

We are creating technical trainings on rise and as part of them, we have some demos in zip folders that need to be uploaded on Rise. These zip folders contain word documents /.java files etc. We want to zip the whole file folder and add in rise so that users can download it and work on it. How can we do it?

if not possible, what are the alternatives we have?

  • Go to the Multimedia blocks and you'll find an attachment block. You should be able to upload your zip file via that block.

  • good afternoon,

I am also trying to upload a zip file into Rise.  I have tried using the attachment block but it then forces the learner to download that file.  is there a way to upload multiple pdf documents at once in Rise where they would open and not have to be downloaded?

    thanks,

    Lynn

      Hi Lynn,

You cannot upload multiple pdf documents at once into Rise.

If a PDF is added to a Rise course as an attachment block, it needs to be downloaded.

If the PDF exists on a web server, you can embed the PDF in Rise where you can view the PDF without downloading it.
