I realize that there is an Audio problem on slides that automatically advance in HTML5. that when you return to the slide, it doesn't play? Does changing the slide to "reset to initial state" solve that problem?
if not, is there any workaround? otherwise there is no need for me to publish to HTML5 with my current projects, since they need to advance automatically.
Mobile Safari does not allow audio to play that is not initiated or triggered by the user. Therefore, slides set to advance automatically will not have audio in HTML5 output that is viewed in mobile Safari. Thus, it's a limitation in Safari that can't be worked-around at this time.
I'm able to have audio play automatically, however random slides/slide layers will lose audio. But, if i reload the page and continue where i left off the audio plays.
If what you're stating is true then shouldn't all slides not have the audio play?
BTW, i can do the same w/ video and get the same results.

Hi Bill,
What browser are you using in which you're getting those results?
Hey, I'm having the same issue too! Some "auto advance" slides have audio (most actually), and then randomly, others don't. I was planning to troubleshoot this morning. I think the first thing I will do (based on all the posts I've read on the subject of audio/html5/iPad issues) is make the slides "user advance" that are having the "no audio playing" issue.
I'll let you know if that fixes it. (I'll also make sure there is nothing else "odd" on the slide causing it not to play.)
I developed a courase which contains 11 slide 5 for content and 5 for quiz and one result slide each slide having single audio file.I published the course html5 and ipad when I saw in i-Pad everything is working fine except audio .I know audio doesn't play with out trigger for that I added trigger play audio on timeline starts audio also playing but the main problem is when you click on next next slide audio and content playing fine way when click back previous slide audio playing where you left the slide content playing starting onwards only audio resuming this is main problem I am getting .I tried different way to fix this issue I enabled propery for slide when revisit reset to initial state but still I am getting same problem please help me on this.Thank you.
Without actually seeing your files, it's hard to say what might be going on, but the articles here and here may be what you're looking for. If not, we'd be happy to take a closer look at your projects. You can send them to us here. Thanks!
Thanks, Naga. It looks like Tim's course ran without issue after those updates, so there may be something else going on with your file. Are you able to share it privately with us so we can have a look?
The only real way for us to know exactly what might be going on, is to see the .story file you're having the trouble with. You can send it to us here. Thanks again!
Thanks for posting. In Tim's case above, we were able to publish his course to SCORM Cloud and view it in Safari with an iPad 2 with iOS 6.1 without any audio issues. If you haven't already, we'd recommend updating the iPad to iOS 6.1.
I'll check your other thread now, as it looks like you've attached a file.

I too have posted about similar HTML5 audio issues and attached an example .story file over here :

Has there been any update or workaround on these issues or confirmation from Articulate that they can reproduce it?
