Resources menu loads behind embedded videos

When you say you were using a Google Docs Video, do you mean that you inserted it as a web object?  If so, see the link below:

Nah, I used  the HTML embed option.  But I'll check out the link.

Read the link, and I will say that the issue did happen in the HTML5 output as well.  But again, I was using HTML embed vs. web object.

Thanks for letting me know that you use Google Docs video.  I did a quick test with a Youtube video and a Google Docs video.  With the Youtube video, the resource tab appears on top.  With the Google Docs video, the tab appears underneath.  I don't know what the Google Docs player is doing that is preventing this from working as expected (especially since Google owns Youtube).  However, I did submit the issue over to the dev team.  Unfortunately, we might be at the mercy of their player.

For now, you can download the video & insert it via Insert > Video > Video from File and it'll work as expected.

That was quick.  Here's what dev said:

"YouTube video is special, we host that in a flash control so the Z order works. Google docs video (and most embedded videos like screenr, vimeo, et al) use a web object behind the scenes."

Thus, the Resource tab will always appear behind the Google Docs video.

Why do they use the web object for all other videos, even your own Screenr stuff? 

Hi Nathan, we use Web Object to embed videos where it's difficult to get the specific data we need to display them properly.  Like dimensions and duration.  The YouTube API makes that pretty straightforward, but Vimeo, Screenr, etc don't have that same capability.
