Hi Gren Foronda,

I am curious about xAPI statements integrated into Rise. Six months ago, Articulate Rise staff stated that there is no way to add xAPI statements. However, I see a feature called "code snippet" in Rise under the Multimedia tab, which seems to be an avenue to add xAPI statements. Is this true? If not, what is the code snippet for?

Best Regards,

Hello Elizabeth! The Code Snippet is used to showcase what a set of codes would look like without executing them.

On the other hand, the Multimedia Embed block is what folks use to embed content from another website. Here are all the lesson and block types available in Rise 360.

I hope this helps!

Hi.  My Use Case for xAPI statements in Rise is so that I can send more granular details to the LRS via xAPI statements.  The video link (above) is ok, if you're willing to edit the post-published files (which I'm not).

The other option would be if I'm missing something re: the xAPI statements, and they already have some sort of unique identifier for Lessons that I'm missing.  At the moment, all I can see is:

"object": {
"id": "http://UNIQUE_ID_rise",
"objectType": "Activity",
"definition": {
"type": "http://adlnet.gov/expapi/activities/course"
}
}

This gives me the overall Course ID, but not the individual lesson IDs.

Any suggestions/thoughts?  Am I missing something?
