Alt Tag formatting

I am new to Articulate and am trying to format the alt tag that I added to an image. I cannot find any option to bold or italicize the text that I have entered. Just wondering if that is possible.

Hi, Manika,

There are two reasons for Alt Text:

Provide a text description that will be read aloud to anyone using a screen reader (i.e., for someone who is blind)
Provide a text description that will show if a person's browser can't display the image (which is rare nowadays)

I don't know of any programs that provide formatting options for Alt Text, because it's not really needed.

Hi Judy

Thank you for your response. Legal Acts and ordinances should be written in Italics which is my I was wondering if there was an option to format alt tags.
