Articulate Rise Quiz

Jan 06, 2023

Hello!

I am currently creating a course in rise that consists of ten vignettes with one question following each vignette/case study. Is there a way that the learner can answer the question (in quiz form or knowledge check form) after each vignette and get a collective score at the end for all ten? Right now, each question is being scored as a whole, but I need a comprehensive score for all questions to make sure the learner passes the unit as a whole. Hope that makes sense!

Hi Laura!

This sounds like a good opportunity to use a Storyline block! Start by creating your vignettes and quiz questions in Storyline 360. You can alternate between quiz slides and vignette slides. Then, add a results slide at the end to calculate the collective score of the 10 questions.

When you're ready, embed the slide directly in your Rise 360 lesson using a Storyline block.

You can track the collective quiz score from the Storyline block by choosing the quiz tracking option when you publish from Storyline to Review 360. Then, when you export for LMS, select the Storyline block as the tracking option. More details on that here.

In that scenario, the quiz score will be sent to the LMS, but question-level details aren't sent to the LMS for Storyline blocks. Let us know if that would be an option for you!
