Best size / ratio for labelled graphic

I like to line up the labels on the labelled graphic with the background. However what you see in the editor doesn't always match what you get in the course.

Placement of the items seems relative in the editor, and absolute in the course, and it's more obvious on narrow images. So is there an ideal size or ratio I should aim for to ensure the image lines up with the editor?
