Can I control view while editing?

Help please!  I'm using the labeled graphic template which is perfect for the lesson.  However, I can't get the markers into the correct position because my image is so small in the edit view (w/ my browser at 100%). 

When I zoom in using my browser, the kind of look like they're in the correct place.

But in my preview with my browser at 100% (third pic), you can see they're not anywhere near the text they're explaining.

Any ideas??
