I am trying to drag and drop to rearrange my lessons in Rise, but it is not allowing me to do that. I am using Google Chrome. I have seen videos and read that this is feasible, but it is not working for me. What am I doing wrong?
I tested this out this AM, and it was working normally for me:
Are you also using Chrome? Do you know what update? I'm on version 69.0.3497.100 (which is the latest). I also tested it in the latest updates of Firefox and Safari.
I tried it again today and it was working fine. I have no idea what was going on the other day, maybe we were having some type of connectivity issue. Thanks for reaching out!
Not a problem, Elizabeth! Please let us know if you run into any trouble again.
Also, it looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
I also cannot move a lesson in Rise 360. Never had a problem with this before but it looks as though others have had the problem in the past. How can I fix this?
Hi LaVon! Can you try updating your Chrome to the latest version 78.0.3904.87? We did some testing in Windows and Mac, and we were able to reorder lessons.
If you're still having trouble after updating, let me know, and we'll dig in!
I was having the same issue and was about to post my query here. However I realized, I was a contributor to my Rise course and not an owner. For anyone facing this same issue, I can add my bit here. This feature can be done by the owner and not the manager or contributors. Admin please confirm if I am right. Hope this could be helpful.
Hello, Sameeksha. Being a collaborator on a course should not impact your ability to modify the course outline or reorder lessons.
We've had luck with asking folks to refresh their instance of Rise 360, or clearing their browser cache if certain Rise authoring functions aren't working. Let us know here if that doesn't help!

I'm having the same issue. It won't let me move it once I click to drag it. The hand is appearing, but it wont click.

Hi Elizabeth,
Can you take a Peek of what you're seeing? It would be helpful to see the full browser are you're editing in Rise.
Also, have you tested any other browsers?

I closed everything down and then it worked. However, I will have IT update my Chrome browser.
Thank you.
