Is there anyway to create a quick course evaluation metric at the end of a course? I've tried adding a quiz to ask "How would you rate this course?" but Rise quizzes seem to require a correct answer. As much as I'd like to say that any other rating apart from "Excellent" is incorrect, I don't think the learners would appreciate it :)
As a follow on question, would the information captured in the survey through the storyline module be reportable in the data collected from the survey like the rise quiz results.
I've built my course in Rise which contains a standard quiz at the end, and then a storyline survey module to capture the course evaluation. When I export the module the tracking option lets me choose to track the progress from the quiz or the storyline module but not both. Is there a way around this? Otherwise I won't be able to use the evaluation module as I also need the quiz results.
You can only track one unfortunately. There are a couple of options but involve additional work. You may be able to embed something like survey monkey of your LMS may support evaluations.
As Karl mentioned, one way to add evaluation questions to your lesson is to embed a survey from a third-party tool (like Google Forms or Survey Monkey) using a Multimedia Embed block.
Use this iFrame code format for easy embedding! <iframe src="URL HERE"></iframe>
Thank you for the workaround! However when I went to add the iFrame code I copied from a Google Form it didn't populate the form. Rather, it stayed in code format. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Hi there, Robert! If you design a survey in Storyline 360 and add it to Rise as a Storyline block, survey responses would not be sent to your LMS.
You may want to consider using another type of survey tool, like Typeform or Survey Monkey. You can embed the survey using a multimedia embed block. Just keep in mind that you'll capture survey responses within the survey tool itself, not in your LMS.

You could build a survey in a storyline block or embed survey monkey
Hi thanks. We don't use Survey Monkey where I work, but I could try the survey option. Thanks.

If you add in a results slide you should be able to track by storyline block
Great, thanks

Same question for the same issue. The LMS does have a survey option, but it would be nice to have a tracked survey right there in Rise.
Thanks for letting us know what you'd like to see, John!
I too would like to see this capability. Is there a suggestion I could vote for?
Hi Christine! We monitor the forums for your requests - no vote required! Thanks for adding your voice.
I would really like an evaluation built into rise would save so much trouble
Your typical LMS would not be able to save or collate course evaluation surveys as this data type is not part of the SCORM standard.
We use an external survey tool and we embed our course evaluation surveys using an iframe.
External survey apps give you many response types such as Likert scale, etc, and have great collation and reporting capabilities.

Hi Alyssa (and Karl),
Thank you for the workaround! However when I went to add the iFrame code I copied from a Google Form it didn't populate the form. Rather, it stayed in code format. Am I doing something incorrectly?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
What block type are you using? A Code Snippet block will not work
Use a MULTIMEDIA / EMBDED block.
Thank you! This was the perfect fix.
In a quiz module is possible to skip the questions that were answered correct and only repeat the questions wrong ?
Hi Ananda,
No, this is not possible.
When re-doing a quiz, all questions need to be answered again.
tnks !!!!
So, if I use a Storyline block, the results of the survey will be saved in the LMS?
