We use custom fonts in our modules. However it seems that in some interactive block, e.g. within labeled graphics, the custom font doesn't appear but rather a standard Rise font.

May I ask what custom font are you using? Does this happen if you use a different custom font (or with a prebuilt font)? Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you are seeing? I'll take a look and see what's happening.
