Embedded PDFs in Quiz
May 05, 2020
Hello,
I am fairly new to Articulate. I am trying to set up a quiz, where 3 pages of hand writing needs to be read, before a "score" is assigned to the work (think teachers marking student's work)... I currently have the PDFs embedded, by pasting the url link. I have the PDFs 'housed' elsewhere in the course and that is the link I have embedded. This was all easy and going great! My problem is that sometimes the PDFs show up as pop outs as they should- sometimes it's just their title and the PDF part is blank. I know they are all there. It is hit and miss as to which ones show up! I've tried refreshing the screen... which causes different scripts to become visible sometimes... but its not reliable. I have tried different browsers.
Is anyone able to offer advice? Its so frustrating! I'm so close!
Thanks in advance,
Anna

What are you using to develop your course?
Storyline or Rise?
Hi Karl,
Rise.
:)
Hello, Anna!
Are you using this Embed from the web option within the quiz question? If so, try using an iframe code instead of just pasting the URL.
Copy the code below, and paste the URL for the PDF document where it says URL in the code. Let me know how that goes!
<iframe src="URL"></iframe>
Thanks so much for the suggestion, Alyssa...
At the moment I have just been pasting the url in the "embed from web". I will give it a go with the code and get back to you.
I appreciate your help ,so much!
Thank you
Hi Alyssa,
This was a great tip and solved the problem very quickly.
Thanks so much.
Anna
