I want to create a course in rise and then make it available on a website for purchase since there is no LMS. Does anyone have experience on how to do this? Is there a specific payment gateway that would need to be linked with the website?
You'll first need to find a hosting environment for your published courses WordPress or Amazon S3. Once you've set the hosting, you'll need to look into Paywalls to place your content behind payment gateways to make them available for purchase. Unfortunately we don't have a Paywall service that we can recommend, but hopefully you find one that first your needs online!
Agree with Jose, setting up a Wordpress site with a paywall plugin probably the cheapest and easiest way to go. I've got a wordpress site with a plugin called Leaky Paywall already installed, I'll plan to do a test to see how easy it is to modify a page template to load a Rise course, and put it behind the paywall.
