GIFs with audio

I'd like to include in a course, a GIF with audio, which I'm just starting to find out I might be able to do with howler.js. I don't know much about it yet, so just wondering if anyone else here has experience with it - or knows another way to pair audio with a GIF before pulling it into Rise (final destination would be in a microlearning course published to a web browser.) I know this is a tall order, but it's something our clients will want so I'd looking for all possibilities and workarounds. Thanks!
