How to create a gif

Good morning,

I am new to Articulate.

For my first project, I am using Rise360 - microlearning - "Software Training" template.

There are placeholders with .gifs of screen animation.

Looking for how to create my own .gif of the screen animation? If this cannot be done within Rise, can it be done in another Articulate product?

Hi Sheila,

Creating a GIF is pretty simple, with lots of available free screen capture tools out there, so it's not natively built into Rise. Once you create a GIF, you can insert it into Rise as a standard image file and it'll work beautifully.

I typically use an external tool like SnagIt to create a GIF, but I'm curious what other tools the community relies on!
