How to make a URL launch in a new window? Sep 28, 2018 By Alexander Leal Hi. I am working on a project in Rise and I notice that the URLs I add launches in a new tab. Is there a way I can make it launch in a new window? Thanks!
Crystal Horn Staff over 5 years ago10/01/18 at 6:48 pm (UTC) Hi there, Alexander. Hyperlinks in Rise will open in a new tab unless the user right clicks and chooses to open in a new window. You could probably edit the exported output of your Rise course, but we don't officially support that. This third party article describes opening hyperlinks in tabs vs. windows, and I thought it was helpful:https://www.thesitewizard.com/html-tutorial/open-links-in-new-window-or-tab.shtml Does anyone else in the community have an opinion or a method for dealing with this setup?
