How to set first frame of video

Mar 24, 2020

Hi all,

I'm new to Rise 360.  I'm uploading videos.  They play, but show as black or white screens when I preview my course.  Can I freeze a frame image to show in the course like I can in power point?  Do I have to do that in Storyline and then pull the Storyline slide into Rise 360?

Thanks for the help.

Hi Helene!

Rise 360 displays the first frame of the video by default, and it sounds like the first frame of your video is black or white. You have two options for correcting this using a video editing tool like Replay 360.

  1. Trim the black or white frame(s) from the beginning of the video so that the first frame is an image of the video itself.

    -OR-
  2. Add an image to the first frame of the video.

Let me know if you'd like some help with that!
