Images resizing
Dec 12, 2019
I'm trying to figure out an image sizing issue. I design my courses on a pretty large monitor, but my learners usually take them on smaller monitors. I've attached two screenshots that show how different images can look depending on the size of the monitors.
My main concern is that when I previewed the course, no matter if on a phone or tablet or computer, I never had an issue with these images sizing incorrectly. You can see the grey boarder at the edges of screenshot 1. Screenshot 2 is what it looks like on my monitor, aka the intended result.
Is there a way to be sure that this won't happen before I send out to learners? I did my due diligence when reviewing, but was never able to replicate this error.

Hi there, Weston. Can you share the actual image file you used in that Image & Text block? I'd like to have a look at the image dimensions and how it responds at different browser sizes. You can attach it in your reply.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to share the original image, but I did use .svg vectors for this. Could that be causing the issue?
Hi Weston,
It's possible that the problem is due to the file type. Have you tried converting the image to a PNG file, then uploading it again?
Also, what web browser were you using when you took Screenshot 1?
I can try the png. I believe they took it on internet explorer. Thanks!
Thanks, Weston. Please keep us posted on what happens with the PNG file!
