M Learning

Apr 23, 2018

Hi,

Does anyone know if there are any courses aimed specifically at how to design M Learning as opposed to eLearning?

Either online or in the UK would be marvellous.

Thanks,
Wayne

ATD has a program you can take online. (I helped design it last year. )

https://www.td.org/education-courses/mobile-learning-certificate

Description:

Companies are aggressively looking for ways mobile technologies can give them a competitive edge. A significant area in which to find this advantage is in mobile learning and performance improvement. Mobile learning (m-learning) is becoming an important area of focus for many organizations looking to push learning and development to a growing mobile audience that has smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. How do companies take their significant investment in e-learning and convert it for use in a mobile world? There is still a strong belief among people who are not intimately familiar with mobile learning that mobile learning is nothing more than e-learning on a mobile device. But the fact is that proper conversion of content to mobile learning requires instructional design and development skills for mobile learning.

Strategy, media development, deployment strategies, and everything in between will be discussed in this series.

ATD’s Mobile Learning Certificate is a hands-on workshop that explores the design methodologies, technology, platforms, and devices required to harness the power of m-learning.

Facilitated by experts in mobile learning, you’ll take away the latest and most accurate content on mobile technologies, strategy, design, technology, resources, and implementation. You’ll leave this interactive workshop with strategies for making m-learning easy to use and applicable.

Hope this helps.

Karin
