I'm new to Rise, and my customer is asking for a final feedback in a quiz. That is "Congratulations, you passed the quiz! Now ..." or something like that in the end. I can't see if there is any possibility to add that, though?
Have you considered adding a final Blocks lesson with instruction on what the learner should do after the quiz? Here's an example of what that could look like. Keep in mind, the Exit Course button I used there only works in a LMS environment.
Hi! I've done it the way you suggest Alyssa, but still it would be better to get the feedback when they receive the quiz result. If possible to add it would be great!
It would be great to be able to give different feedback on the quiz depending on whether the learner passed or failed (for example, giving them tips on what to revise before trying again). Is this something that can be done and I'm missing, or can it be put in in the future?
Very needful feature. I was really surprised when didn't find it in the settings. There's nothing more natural and expectable as overall feedback after the quiz, otherwise user is confused and has no idea about his results.
The first mention of it was 3 years ago, but still, nothing changed.
I concur. The ability to add a simple message below the score would be very useful. I only wanted something to say 'please click on the Exit Course button above'.
Could you explain how the links are added to the section as I can't find? The example shows a 'Back to Quiz' and 'Exit Course' and I can't work out how to add these.
In this example course, I added a new lesson after the quiz. In that lesson, I used a button block to help learners navigate back to the first lesson or exit the course. Let me know if you need help with that block type!
Not sure exactly where it is but there is a setting to ensure your leaner follows a linear path meaning that they can't skip to the post quiz lesson. I have just tried this and when I went to the side bar to click this, it wouldn't let me.
In the quiz settings, you select "Require passing score to continue" - rather, set this to "On." It will lock the lesson following the quiz. I added final resources, a course survey, and a completion screen to this added lesson.
I agree there should be the option to show guidance/feedback at the end of the quiz depending on whether the learner passed or failed. Quizzes are often the last stage to a course and it would make sense to confirm completion to those who have passed etc. Surprised it's not been implemented yet.
Feedback after a quiz or any assessment is basic instructional design best practices and commonly asked for from SMEs. Please add this feature. I have to build out an entire storyline project just to make a quiz with feedback at the end. That's a waste of time and money. I think your features design team could benefit from poking around a LMS or two like Moodle or Canvas.

I would appreciate being able to insert a message at the end of a quiz.
I have also been asked to insert a "what to do next" message once the quiz ends.
Hi there!

I hope that sparks some ideas!

Thanks for the feedback Rikard! If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about your specific needs, that would be super helpful!
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
OK! Will do!
Also, I named the last lesson "CONGRATS - YOU'VE PASSED!", and set the tracking completion to the quiz. For now, I think this will do.
Great! I'm glad you found a solution. :)

Hi there, Chris. Right now, the quiz results page will only show the default text. We'll let you know if we make any changes to that feature!
Any updates on this feature of quiz result feedback?
No updates, yet, SibaPrasad.

Agreed this is definitely needed

Hi Andrew!
In this example course, I added a new lesson after the quiz. In that lesson, I used a button block to help learners navigate back to the first lesson or exit the course. Let me know if you need help with that block type!
Unfortunately, as the post quiz lesson shows up in the navigation, the learner can skip straight to it. Is there a way to hide the post-quiz lesson?
Thanks for asking, Roni! While the sidebar menu can be hidden completely, there isn't a way to hide individual lessons.

Hi Andrew!
Have you tried enabling restricted navigation? Let me know if that's what you had in mind!
I think you tagged the wrong person. It's not me that has the issue. I already have this sorted and I assume that I did it the way you describe. :-)
Thanks for clarifying, Andrew! I apologize for my confusion. 😄
