I have found that audio blocks as much as they are a nice idea, are kind of cold when added to the training and I would love to be able to add small pictures of the person talking ( like in the quotes) or an image of the topic of the audio.
I do some work around transforming images into small animations and adding the audio to them but it adds a bunch of effort and my capacity struggles.
Any plans to develop something like this? or ideas to make it already?
Anna, I had the same thought recently, the audio player is so boring! I'm experimenting with a custom audio player that flips between two images using CSS- the start/paused image, and once playing it fades in a full-width graphic. I realize its not 'animation' like what you describe but it makes a more engaging experience with the 2 images. Quick demo in action:

This is an amazing workaround using CSS, Phil!
We are currently tracking a request for Audio block customization. I'll post an update to this thread if we make changes that will help!
