Rise narration in XLF?
Mar 04, 2021
Hi folks,
I'm looking for a simple way of sending both on-screen text and recorded audio (narration) to my translators in the Rise 360 XLF.
For example, if I've added a narrated audio clip or video with a Multimedia block, I'd like to incorporate the narrated audio.
Right now, I send them:
- XLF that captures the on-screen text
- Separate file (Word or PPT) with the narration script.
Is there way to incorporate the narration script into the Rise course that doesn't appear on-screen and messes up my layout?
Does the CC export with the XLF? I tried to read the XLF but can't make enough sense of it.

Hello, Dino! Video closed captions won't be included in the XLIFF file. Instead, you'll want to upload a separate .vtt caption file for each language. This will allow the learner to choose their own language as they view the video.
