Select one of two options

Hi,

I would like to create a course that has two options (paths) that a learner can take, depending on their needs.  I know that I can use a button stack to send them to the two different paths.  What I am struggling with is if there is a way to differentiate the two paths for credit in the LMS.  For example, I am teaching learners how to use software for either our Intranet or Internet and they would select the appropriate path depending on our needs.  What I don't know is if/how I can have the two paths represent two different portions of the training and have them get credit for 1 individual path for Intranet learning and 1 individual path for Internet learning or if the only option is to get credit for the overall course, regardless of which path they choose.  My preference would be to use Rise 360 but if I can make it work only in Storyline, I'm open to that as well.
