Storyline File in Rise
Oct 19, 2020
Hi
I downloaded a video from YouTube- then inserted the video in Storyline. I then published the file - Review 360 - to use the file in Rise (interactive block).
However the file when previewing has this view (see attached and link).
Any reason what I am doing incorrect?

Why don't you just add a link to the YouTube video?
It's much simpler.
Yes that would be a great idea - however - some of the audience does not have access to internet (remote locations).
If some of the audience does not have access to internet, how are you going to get a Rise course to them?
Yeah - Meant to say limited access. Anyways just waiting for an answer pertaining to my initial question....
The preview link doesn't work.
My first question is why are you putting the video into Storyline and then the Storyline file into Rise. Unless there's a specific reason why you need to use Storyline, it is much easier to use the video block in Rise rather than use Storyline.
The black play button is usually generated by the browser when you have media on the first slide.
Here's a conversation that may help resolve that
