Work Assignment verification
May 17, 2019
Hi,
I am trying to create an assessment that will contain a mix of knowledge based multiple choice questions, with work assignments that a student must perform and have verified by a facilitator/instructor.
The work assignment section could be as simple as having an instructor mark Yes/No for whether they successfully completed the assignment and scoring that question.
But not sure how to have the instructor rather than the student access that portion of the assessment.
Any examples or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I'm not aware of a way of doing that in Rise.
Our LMS has the functionality to create a course that consists of multiple activities, such as an online course (Rise), plus other activities. e.g. offline tasks that need to be submitted and marked as completed by the instructor.
Hi Dennis,
There's no way to have learners submit assignments within a Rise course. I would see if that's something your LMS allows you to do, like Karl suggested.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks Karl. I remember at a former company, Cornerstone on Demand offered questions that could be graded manually by humans but we had not used that option at the time.
I am using SumTotal now and will research it's capabilities.
I wasn't sure if there was a format on Rise or Storyline that would be better suited for answers that need to be human verified.
