xAPI Full Capabilities in Rise

I'm building a number of Rise modules for a client and they love the platform, however they are looking for a solution that will allow them to capture robust metrics from the learning using xAPI to show how learners are interacting with the content. Examples include tracking Knowledge Check selections and attempts, interaction with audio, video and interactive blocks, etc. Currently the xAPI tracking in Rise is no different than what SCORM provides. Alternatively, could the content be exported in a way that allows developers to add in their own API statements post export? Data and analytics are becoming a massive ask from our clients and I'm still only able to accomplish this by building our own custom platforms.

I’m voting for this too, for whatever it’s worth.
It's been almost four years and many users have been asking to develop the feature. Any updates?
Hi Wen,
Thanks for checking in on this! There currently hasn't been any movement on this as we prioritize other features. I'm going to include your voice in the request. We’ll update this discussion when there is any news to share about this.
This thread has 78 replies. People want and need this. Can you please move it up the list?
They focus on their own LMS I guess.
I would concur, please move it up the list
I would like to add a vote for this - including a very simple analytics-for-dummies- type user interface. ie. Tick all these things you want to see, and then when it's exported for a LMS, it will report what you want. Without needing to know how to program things to tell you or knowing anything about javascript, or having to program some type of reporting into a storyline file (Storyline is already complicated enough...)
I'm sure I'm not the only person authoring courses on here that knows a lot about the content to deliver, a fair bit about education and engagement with learners, but has the bare minimum technical expertise to support that.
Add my vote to the call for xAPI statements in Rise! Or just being able to add JavaScript directly from the Rise360 interface (similarly to Storyline)
Chiming in as well that we're moving toward xAPI for a lot of our courses and would love to use Rise as the authoring tool.

Has anyone attempted to execute an xAPI statement from the embed video iFrame block? Not sure if this is possible, but thought I'd ask...
+ 1 to implementing xAPI in Rise.
+1 here too. (Well actually about 10 of us, but I can only speak for myself.)
+1 here as well

Here's a tutorial I came across while researching. Haven't tried it myself but could be a possible work around.

We need xAPI in Rise!
+1 to xAPI in Rise.

+1 vote for adding full xAPI support for Articulate Rise. Any updates on this?
Articulate has made it clear that they are not interested in offering full xAPI support and that we users are on our own.
Did this get updated? Definitely need this and SCORM reporting for open ended questions. We need the interaction.
Little reminder for everyone that this thread is 4 1/2 years old.
The last time we had a response from an Articulate staffer was 3 years ago.
If you're going through a contract renewal cycle at the moment, and they're tying to sell you AI, you should probably keep this kind of feature abandonment in mind...
Currently sitting at 97 replies. Users are hungry for xAPI support within Rise...
+1 for xAPI in Rise please!!
