RISE Timeline Issue
Jul 12, 2018
I am wondering if anyone has encountered or seen this issue I have just started having with the Timeline block in RISE for Articulate 360.
In the working course, my timeline is in order by date but when I got to publish in Review or use the Preview link, my dates are all mixed up.
Wondering if anyone could help with how to resolve (besides remaking the entire course)?
Thanks!

Hey Learning & Development!
We were seeing a problem with the Rise Timeline lesson where new timeline events would always appear last, no matter where they were added in the sequence. Our team jumped on this issue right away and got it fixed yesterday!
Are you still seeing this problem? Let me know if we need to keep digging into it!
Hi Alyssa,
I've just discovered a similar issue in my course. I re-ordered the timeline events using the slider at the top, and in Edit mode they look the way I want them to (numerical order). But in Preview mode number 1 appears after number 6 and the timeline starts with number 2.
Is there anything you can suggest that doesn't involve me building the timeline from scratch again?
Many thanks,
Tove
Hey again, Tove!
I recently replied to another post of yours over here, but I wanted to share my findings in this discussion as well.
I was able to recreate the issue in a new Rise timeline lesson. Here's a screen recording of what I saw.
While our team is working on a fix, you can work around the issue by moving the events to the right on the timeline slider as I showed in my video.
We'll let you know as soon as this is sorted out!
Hi Alyssa,
Thank you for the workaround tip! It worked for me and I was able to deliver to the stakeholders before going on holiday :-) Any news on a permanent fix? Many thanks!
That's great news, Tove! It's always nice to check things off your list before going on a holiday.
No news on a permanent fix yet, but we'll keep you posted. Enjoy your time off! 😎
Hi Alyssa, I've got a similar, but different issue. My events are showing up in the correct order, but the lines and dots at the top appear at the wrong event and as I continue scrolling down, the dots and lines go back and then forward to the correct event. Is this something that will be addressed as well?
Welcome, Rica!
Really sorry you've come across a new oddity. I'm finding some strange behavior in my own testing where it seems to closely match what you're describing. Does my Peek screen recording match what you're seeing? If not, would you mind sharing a Peek of what you see on your end?
In the meantime, I'll get the skipping behavior from my testing in front of my team so that we can take a closer look. I'll be standing by!
