Screen recording not filling screen

I'm having problems with the screen recording I've taken not filling the viewing screen - exactly like this post I found a few months ago. I thought I understood how to fix it, and followed the solution in the post below, but I'm still having problems.

I changed my story size to custom 1366 x 768 (the size of my laptop screen), kept the lock aspect and scale to fit, recorded the screen (full screen 1366 x 768) but still ended up with the spaces above and below the recording (screen shot attached).
I've tried changing the screen resolution to match the preferred story size (720 x 540) and had success that way, but it doesn't look as good as the full resolution.
Please can anyone help with a solution??

Hi Jenny,
I've seen this come up a few times now. First, make sure you're using the 4:3 ratio. As Adam mentioned in that post you read, he used a Story size of 1889 x 893. Are you able to tell a difference with that Story size? Once you change the Story size to something similar to the one Adam mentioned, you should be able to put in a larger video. You could try using one of the same resolution to see if it will fit the slide properly.

Yeah, so this issue is popping up for me as well. No matter how many tweaks to the story size I make (including making it the same dimensions as the screen recording) I still get space at the top and bottom.
Story size is set to 4:3. Perhaps I could upload the files to see what you all can see.

Hi Lucia! I took a peek at Daniel's previous case (in case he didn't pop in soon), and this is what information was provided to him:
The screen size is different from the story size which is 720 x 540. If you will adjust this to a larger size for your screen, this will translate to 1440 x 1080.
There is another thread here and here where users had similar issues and you can see them work through to resolution.
