People Manager Simulation
This is a vibe-coded people manager simulation game. The learner steps into the role of a new call centre manager, taking over a struggling team. Each decision impacts key measures such as performance, morale, complaints, retention, and stress, and if the wrong calls stack up, you risk being “fired”.
The full game runs inside Rise, with avatars, tooltips, game-over conditions, and a narrative end-summary. To keep it simple, I hosted the images directly in Rise (using a hidden lesson to grab the image URLs).
I’ve also written a short how-to guide just below the game, so anyone who wants to repurpose the code and build their own simulation can follow along.
This was a great way to test the Code Block for more advanced interactions, and to explore how lightweight simulations can boost engagement in corporate learning.

Can the ChatGPT create a scorm package of this code? Because then it becomes tricky as then you can add it to any LMS, and Rise is no longer needed?
Thank you for sharing this danielbenton!
I love how you turned this into a playable experience and really shows what's possible in Rise.
You’ve shared a few projects lately that really show what’s possible with Code Blocks. I wondered if you might be open to going a bit deeper with us in a 'How I Built This' feature, something that walks through your process and offers tips for others who want to experiment.
We recently published a great 'How I Built This' piece as an example, but this could even take shape as a live webinar or demo if you prefer a more interactive format.
Let me know if that's something you might want to explore!
PSA: We’ll be featuring this example in an upcoming ELH Weekly Newsletter. 🎉

Loved how the task isn't to complete a single task, especially since leadership is about multi-balancing.
I ended the game early only because I know nothing about this role, but if I did I'd have fun seeing if my career knowledge would resolve the problems. And I might even repeat it, to see if there are ways to improve the situation.
My only issue was I found the font hard to read, but I'm also old so maybe that's more on me than your project.
Apart from that, it's a fantastic way to teach people. So impressed.
